Our story

The Fine Collective CIC has been set up in the name of our late grandparents/parents, who, since their passing, we have learnt a lot more about how they both went that extra mile to help others, often for little or no renumeration.

Julie a teacher who dedicated 40 years to education, and Lawrence, a lawyer and real character.

Family was everything to them both, showing pride and love in everything we did. But their support went beyond family, always the first to help a friend or those in need. They played a massive part in our lives, as grandparents/parents do, as well as others, so in part this is a legacy to them.

With Ruth supporting charities for numerous years, a well as being a forest school leader and formally a nurse for the NHS, she has cemented her desire to help others, and to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of nature connection.

Anna, the daughter of the duo- a keen traveller, sportsperson, allergy sufferer, and charity supporter from a young age. She aims to inspire and empower young children, specifically girls, that despite challenges that goals and dreams may present, they are not blockers, instead obstacles to overcome.

Together, through different initiatives, we aim to facilitate projects and raise funds to support and educate people in our local community in whatever way we can, and to inspire people to believe that anything is possible.

Working closely with children, families, and groups, we plan to provide opportunities around nature connection, cooking and life skills, as well as offer experiences that we hope will boost both mental and physical well-being.

We hope that we can help to have an impact on those in the local community to make that change for the better.
